The Class of 73 are a group of 50 year olds whose love and support for each other is only matched by the same for our town. We have and continue true to form for years to come. The Class of 73 are richly endowed and truly blessed with talent and strong sense of community service. Our class motto "because we're all in this together" is also a way of life for this tight knit group. We take pride in our group and our town.
If you havent heard the news ....... Cris Rogers loves to talk about the Roque Court Peace Park Project. We have been busy booking his speaking engagements for the park. The ladies at the Presbyterian Church luncheon loved him! The Rotary Club only gave him 15 minutes to speak...not a happy camper!! Book Cris for your next gathering!!
The Class of 73 would like to thank everyone for their support to the Clinton Roque Court Peace Park. It is your generosity and support that keeps us focused on the task that we have undertaken. Be sure to stop by anytime to see what can be done when we all work together!!!
Thanks to Waters Construction for their hard work in building the shelter at the Clinton Roque Court Peace Park Project. It is a great feeling knowing that the vision is starting to become a reality.
THIS IS SUCH A GREAT SIGHT TO SEE!
Thanks to Sessions Electric for installing the lights for us!!!!!
Mac McKinney....our friend! This 95 year old man will be in the hearts and minds of the Class of 73 classmates forever. On Wednesday, Sept 22 Mac touched our lives by sharing with us his stories of the Roque Court and his family. He was married to his late wife Edna for 67 years. Mac is the last known founding member of the Clinton Roque Association who is still living. He won two state championship titles in roque 1946 and 1947. We told him that he will be invited to the dedication of the Roque Court Peace Park but he said we had better hurry up.......because he doesnt even buy green banans anymore.
